molly is a real life comedy lady oh yeah you better believe it
Molly is a Brooklyn-based writer, performer, producer and director who loves most flavors of ice cream. She can be seen improvising with her Magnet Theater house improv team, Scout, every Wednesday night, and monthly with the Magnet show You Are Not Alone. She also produces and hosts Molly's Guilt Free Comedy and Ice Cream Social, a delicious and uplifting variety show that has been recommended by The New York Times (ya heard of it?). Molly is very dedicated to her indie improv trio Eaves, a team that has been called "compelling" by drunk audience members, which is no small feat. She has directed and wrote for many Magnet Theater sketch shows. Other credits include the Boston Comedy Arts Festival, Magnet Sketch TourCo and the Chicago Improv Festival.
When not on stage, Molly works in television production at Jax Media. Her credits include Difficult People (Hulu), Odd Mom Out (Bravo), and Russian Doll (Netflix).
Molly's writing can be seen on The Higgs Weldon, HelloGiggles, RobotButt and more. Her Broad City spec script placed as a semi-finalist in the 2018 Scriptapalooza TV Writing competition.
Molly has studied sketch and improv at the Magnet Theater and the Upright Citizens Brigade under the brilliant guidance of Rick Andrews, Hannah Chase, Armando Diaz, Alan Fessenden, Jeff Hiller, Nick Kanellis, Louis Kornfeld, Peter McNerney, Jana Schmeiding, Chet Siegel, David Siegel, Anthony Apruzzese, Joey Price and other smart/talented peeps.
If you're wondering why the contents of Molly's blog has to do with recovery from an eating disorder, its because that is another part of her life that she is happy to talk about with you.
